The Audit Managers Association of Nigeria is officially registered as a professional association for audit managers, as well as any other categories of auditors in Nigeria and worldwide with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Abuja Nigeria; with registry certificate of incorporation of the incorporated trustees of AMAN number CAC/IT/NO 69160.
We have a unique advantage over all other professional associations in Nigeria. Traditionally, academics have devised what they consider the best syllabus for each subject. Trustees have been left to recommend the best books often basing the choice on percentage of coverage of the syllabus.
Our members are licensed to practice as qualified professional auditors as well as certified audit managers.
Qualified chartered accountants, certified financial managers etc are encouraged to be our members, to enable them function effectively as certified audit managers in government or industries with the full legal right to audit and report all kinds of frauds to stop corruption in Nigerian economy to the minimum.

AMAN aims and objectives
1. To organise a professional association for Audit Managers in Nigeria
2. To be a leading association for Audit Managers of Nigeria
3. To organise workshops, seminars, conferences and publications within Nigeria and worldwide, issuance of certified diplomas and certificates
4. To organise links with individual and similar professional associations in Nigeria and worldwide as affiliates, accredited learning providers, commissions agents or overseas representatives
5. To do all such other lawful things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above object or any of them.
AMAN sources of income
|Self-contributions by members and other donor organisations. We accept donations of any kind from individual, members or any company, to assist the affairs of AMAN in auditing by fighting to reduce fraud or corruption to the minimum in both within and outside the Nigerian economy.|

Some of our courses are not available in most universities, polytechnics, colleges of educations etc in Nigeria and worldwide. The list of courses reflected is not exclusive and we are adding courses the whole time.
We have many overseas campuses running our courses under licence. We control the output of the campuses and ensure that all courses maintain our high national and international standards. Many of our students are mature in terms of audit business experience and many are leaders in their industries or in local, state or federal government ministries, boards. Such as auditor generals, directors of audit, assistants directors of audit, auditors, accountants generals, directors treasury next to the accountant general, DFS etc.
We have four grades of membership of the Audit Managers Association of Nigeria such as Technician with the title of TAMAN for holders of OND or NCE in any field. Associate with a title of AAMAN for holders of BSc or HND in any field, Fellow with the title FAMAN for holders of MSc or MBA and a Doctoral Fellow with the title of DFAMAN after your name for holders of PhD or professors in any field.

The executive committee of the Audit Managers Association of Nigeria are as follows; National President, Assistant National President, Director General, Registrar/Chief Executive, General Secretary, Internal Auditor, National Cashier, National Financial Secretary, Public Relations Media and Publicity Officer, Patrons, Legal Adviser, State Coordinators, FCT Abuja Coordinator, Zonal Coordinators, Website Designer/Computer Operator and other positions that may be decided from time to time by the board of trustees.
We hold Convocations in Nigeria and London in autumn or October each year. Graduates and members, as well as their relatives and friends are welcome to attend. We are affiliates with Institute of Professional Financial Managers (IPFM) of London, students and members can be trained and obtained dual memberships, certificates or diplomas from AMAN and IPFM.
Acceptance of academic and professional qualifications.
We accept academic and professional qualifications when considering exemptions to be granted on all courses.
Associates of professional bodies are entitled to a first degree in the area of their expertise. However, they will be required to produce a thesis of between 5,000 to 5,500 words on a subject of their choice. We do not accept case studies unless they relate to the student's present or a previous workplace.
Fellows of professional bodies are entitled to a master's degree in the area of their expertise. However, they will be required to produce a thesis of 10,000 to 10,500 words on a subject of their choice.
Where the student has not completed a professional, qualification he will be entitled to exemptions on a one-for-one basis on subjects passed.
